Define one goal per landing page

A landing page has one job: get the visitor to take one action. Buy this product. Sign up for this offer. Add to cart. Not "explore our store" or "browse our collections." One page, one goal. If your ad promotes a specific product bundle, the landing page sells that bundle and nothing else. No navigation menu. No sidebar. No "you might also like" distractions. Single focus.

Match the landing page to the ad message

The headline on your landing page should continue the conversation the ad started. If your ad says "50% off our best-selling moisturizer" and the landing page headline says "Welcome to our skincare collection" — you just broke the trust chain. Message match means: same offer, same product, same visual style, same language. The visitor should feel like the landing page is the natural next step from the ad, not a new conversation.

Remove navigation and minimize exit points

Hide the main navigation menu on landing pages. Every link is a potential exit. The visitor came from an ad with a specific intent — do not give them 15 reasons to leave before they buy. Keep the logo (links to homepage for trust), remove the menu, remove footer links, and remove any sidebar widgets. The only clickable elements should be the CTA button and product add-to-cart. Every other click is a conversion leak.
