Create a dedicated signup landing page

Build a landing page specifically for email capture. Different from your popup — this is a standalone page you link to from social media bios, posts, and partnerships. Headline: the specific benefit of subscribing. Body: what they will receive (early access, exclusive discounts, educational content). Form: email only. Use this URL everywhere: Instagram bio, TikTok bio, link in posts, QR codes on packaging.

Run a giveaway with strategic partners

Partner with 2-3 non-competing brands in your niche. Each brand contributes a product to a prize bundle. Each brand promotes the giveaway to their audience. Entry requirement: email address. A well-run giveaway can add 1,000-5,000 subscribers in a week. The key: partner brands must have overlapping audiences. A skincare brand partnering with a wellness brand makes sense. Partnering with an auto parts brand does not.

Every customer interaction should have an email capture opportunity. Checkout: checkbox for marketing emails (Shopify has this built in). Order confirmation: "Forward this to a friend" referral. Packaging insert: QR code to subscribe for exclusive content. Social media: regular posts driving to your signup landing page. Blog: in-content and end-of-post email capture forms. Give existing subscribers an incentive to refer friends. "Give $10, Get $10" programs work well for eCommerce.
